Hunting for jobs in Saudi Arabia is comparatively different from other countries in terms of selection and qualification. With my experience of frequently changing jobs in Saudi I list the following things that employers give preference.

1. Experience – It is the most important criteria for Job in Saudi. Even if you are highly educated and qualified but have less experience, then there is a probability you will not get the job. A diploma with 5 years experience will easily beat a Engineer with 1-2 year experience.

2. Language – If you are looking for job in Marketing/Sales field then this is very important. In technical jobs this point has little or no value.

3. Nationality – It is also very important. Much depends on the nationality of the employer.

4. Education – It also counts. It has more weight when you are less experienced.

5. Iqama – Transferable

6. Last thing that the employer looks is that You Ask for Least Salary.
